Annapolis

Last Sunday (October 24th) Ben and I went to Annapolis to meet Dorothy and Matt for dinner.  We walked around the town for a bit and quickly toured the Naval Academy.  Ben had never been to Annapolis to hang out so I showed him all of my favorite places (cupcakes are involved).  We enjoyed sitting and watching all the sail boats, eating delicious seafood, and of course hanging out with Dorothy and Matt.

Outside the Naval Academy

I loved watching all the boats.  We need a boat.

I. Love. Sailboats.

I love this man!!!

Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins.

Which one is mine and which one is Ben's?

Butler's Orchard

Ben and I started a tradition last year of driving out to Butler's Orchard in Germantown, Maryland to pick our pumpkins straight from the pumpkin path.  Butler's Orchard also has a large apple orchard, but we have only enjoyed the pumpkins.

We learned when we were checking out at orchard store that the owner had passed away in July.  Two of his brothers now run the orchard and it has been a family business for over 70 years!!!

We also got some delicious apple butter, cucumbers, fresh honey, and fresh apple cider!  YUM!!  I love fall.

Below are some pictures of our pumpkin picking...

Enjoy!

Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere!

This pumpkin is heavy!

Evidence of what we all know

So before the game and after the game all my free time was spent with Emmie.  As always, I followed the adorable princess around the house taking pictures of her everywhere she went.  Below is the evidence of what we all know...Emmie is soooooooooo cute!

Good morning.

I love breakfast!  (Saturday morning)

Go Gamecocks!

Hello.

Emmie and Franklin are gonna get the squirrels.

She is such a big girl!

Emmie loves Cherrios!

Rolling over the Tide.

Last weekend Ben and I traveled to Columbia, South Carolina to visit our friends Stacy and Paul (and Emmie and Franklin).  On Saturday we went to see the South Carolina Gamecocks take on the University of Alabama Tide.

We won 35-21.

Below is the proof.

Time is not on my side.

I am counting the seconds, minutes, hours, and days until Ben and I are on the road and headed to South Carolina.  I am super excited to go see the Gamecocks play this weekend and take on the Crimson Tide!

BUT... I am way more excited to see...

Isn't she adorable?

(Don't tell her parents, but she is the real reason I keep going back to Columbia)
