Halloween

I am so far behind on blogging (like months and months behind).  I am going to work hard the rest of the year to catch up on all that has happened this year.  And I am starting with Halloween.  Elizabeth and Caroline counted down the days until Halloween and Caroline proclaimed it "her favorite holiday!"

We went to a few festivals, picked pumpkins in our usual pumpkin patch (another blog post to come), Ben carved pumpkins with the girls (I'm allergic, so I avoided the room), and we had a great time hosting our annual Halloween party and trick-or-treating.

Here's a look at pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating:

Elizabeth scooped out all the goop

Caroline scooped all her goop too!

Elizabeth made a zombie pumpkin

Caroline made a vampire pumpkin

Halloween morning we had a spooky fun breakfast.
Bacon, milk, and Halloween donuts!

This year, I convinced my family to do a family costume!
Ben was Mr. Incredible, I was Elasta-girl, Elizabeth was Violet, and Caroline was Dash.
The girls are pretty much obsessed with The Incredibles franchise and they were excited for our costumes!

Ben and the girls.
He got them ready while I ran to pick-up another kiddo that was trick-or-treating with us.

I made it home and changed into my costume.

Nice pose.

Super hero pose.

Lots of blurry photos of our trick-or-treating crew

These kids walked the entire neighborhood!

Trick-or-treating was A LOT of fun

9 boys, 2 girls, and all the candy!

After trick-or-treating, we headed back to our house for snacks and drinks on the driveway.

Mr. and Mrs. Incredible :)

The next morning the girls checked out their candy hauls

Tired sisters that enjoyed their Halloween night

Halloween was a fun night and the girls loved having friends over, eating candy, and trick-or-treating.

Happy Monday y'all!
