St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

 

 

We have enjoyed a very leisurely day around the house just relaxing and not getting into much of anything... ha!  As if.

  

Ben got up before 7am and put the Corned Beef, potatoes, onions, and carrots in the crock pot to cook for eight hours!

 

I got up at 7:15am and got showered and dressed then got Elizabeth up at 7:50.  We all were showered, dressed, and fed by 8:30 and headed out the door by 8:40. 

 

We got to church in plenty of time for the 9am Mass and enjoyed chasing Elizabeth around for 50 minutes until Ben took Communion.  We left church at 10am and headed home to give Elizabeth a nap.

 

While Elizabeth was napping, Ben cleaned up the kitchen and I ran to Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and World Market. 

 

I was back in time for lunch and play time with Elizabeth by 12:15pm.  Scot arrived around 12:45pm to hang out and watch the Pens game (Go Pens!).

 

Shelley and Adam arrived around 2:50pm with the most delicious cookies and cupcakes I have ever had. 

 

At 3pm we enjoye Ben's Corned Beef, veggies, salad, and cookies and cupcakes!  Everyone left a little before 5pm.

 

We played with Elizabeth until 6pm and then she enjoyed dinner and a bath.

 

Now...we are enjoying some West Wing.
