Ben's birthday!

Ben's birthday was on Saturday and the girls and I had a great time celebrating with him all day!  

We made a special breakfast, surprised him with bowling and lunch, then ended his special day with a date to kayak, dinner out, and enjoying an outdoor movie.

Ben, we love you so much and we were so excited to celebrate with you!

After breakfast and presents we all got showered and dressed and then headed to the bowling alley for lunch and bowling birthday fun.  AMF was hosting a kids fest, which included face painting, a bounce house, and Nathan's hotdogs.

Happy Birthday Ben!!

 Apparently Elizabeth grabbed my phone and took about 40 selfies.

These are just a couple of them.

 

 After lunch and face painting, the girls enjoyed the bounce house.

They had it all to themselves.

 They jumped and jumped and jumped...

 When we got home we enjoyed some birthday cake!

Laura came over to babysit in the evening and I had a fun night planned for us!

I planned on us going kayaking, eating barbeque, and catching an outdoor movie.

Well...we got to the boathouse and they had closed due to water conditions. :(

 So we drove back across town and checked out this barbeque place near the outdoor movie.

The food was so good!

We watched Caddyshack, enjoyed some gourmet popcorn, and had a nice evening without kids :)
