Liquid chalk

I like to mix up the arts and crafts we do around the house, so a few times during the year we make liquid chalk and let the girls go to town on the driveway.  It's super easy to make and the girls usually spend over an hour having fun with an inexpensive activity.

You will need:

water
corn starch
food coloring
paint brushes
containers to hold paint (I use muffin tins)

I mix one cup of water with one cup of corn starch and it makes enough for both girls to use several colors for over an hour.  Here is a recipe if you want one.

The girls wear their bathing suits because it's easier to clean up that way and we usually pull out the water table as well.
