Eighteen Months

Dear Elizabeth,

Today you are 18 months old!  Oh my gosh!  I cannot believe we have a 1 1/2- year-old.  As always, time flies and you are changing all the time.

You are 18 months old today!
(So we put you in your 1 year birthday shirt!)

We think you are about 30.5 inches tall and between 20-21 pounds.  Next week you go to the doctor for your 18 month appointment, so we will know for sure next week.   You are wearing 18 month clothes and size 4 shoes.  You wear a size 3 diaper.

You eat three meals a day and one snack.  You take one nap a day, usually after lunch for 2-3 hours.

We have been very busy in the last month.  The day after your 17-month blog, we celebrated with your friend Layla for her 2nd birthday.  She had a fabulous party and you ate a ton of blueberries.  On Sunday, we had Dad's friends Greg and Charlene over for brunch along with their kids Rosie and Atticus.  You loved playing with the big kids while the parents hung out.

On Monday (July 22) we met up with Laura, Sam, and Alice at their pool and played for a couple of hours.  They have a splash area and a kiddie pool at their pool.  You loved it!

Later in the week on Friday, we had Jared, Kelly, and Kylie spend the night on the way to their vacation in Virginia Beach.  Also that night, Uncle Adam and Aunt Brigette came for a visit for the weekend.  You loved playing with Uncle Adam and Aunt Brigette and they brought you your first basketball hoop.

The next weekend we surprised Dad for his birthday and had a bunch of his friends come over for cake on Sunday night.

Later in the week, our friend Ben from Atlanta came for a visit.  We hung out with him downtown and went to a few museums.  This was your first visit to the American History Museum and the Natural History Museum.

And for the past week, you have been in Pennsylvania visiting your Grandparents.  You were dropped off last Sunday morning and we picked you up yesterday morning.  We missed you so much, but I know you had a great time with your Nana and Pap Pap.  Here are some photos from your trip to Pennsylvania.

And today, here you are.  Playing and being silly all afternoon while watching the rain.  You love to look out the window and point out all the cars and wave at all the neighbors.  You also love your dancing dog and you dance with him every day.

We love you so much and we are so glad you are home!

We love you!

Love,

Mom and Dad
