A month of dinners...

This household has been very sick for over a week and is still trying to recover.  While continuing with our month of dinner series, I need to update for a few days.

Saturday was our anniversary and we were supposed to go out to eat.  However, we didn't move from the couch all weekend and so we ordered in.  Saturday night we ordered Thai food and Sunday night we ate the leftovers.

Tonight, Ben made quiche for dinner.  It is super yummy and we usually eat it two or three times a month.

Using a whisk, mix all the ingredients well.  Pour into pie crust.  Bake @400 degrees for 15 minutes.  REDUCE oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30-45 minutes more.  Or until the quiche browned and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.  Let quiche rest for 15 minutes before serving.

You will need: 4 eggs beaten, 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2, 1 teaspoon of salt,
2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 1 deep dish pie crust

*We also spread 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the bottom of the pie crust.
Then carefully pour quiche mixture on top of the cheese and bake as directed.

*We also add bacon to the mixture.  Feel free to add any veggies or other meat.
