He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
I love Easter! It is one of my favorite holidays and this year was just fantastic. We stayed here because Spring Break was ending and enjoyed a quiet day of Church at 9am, brunch at 12 with our neighbors followed by an egg hunt, and then a quiet afternoon just the three of us.
On Saturday night, Ben and I dyed Easter eggs and enjoyed a glass of wine. We agreed that Elizabeth was a little too young this year to dye eggs. Maybe next year.
We dyed 11 eggs (1 broke)
I enjoyed dying them two different colors.
Ben did one of each color.
The Easter Bunny came early...
Elizabeth got some new tights, sandals, chalk, bunny ears,
a dinosaur that sings, and some other random goodies.
Ben got some candy, a picture frame, and some DVDs.
I got some candy and some new pajamas.
Elizabeth going through her Easter basket after Church.
She loves her new ball.
And her new book.
She HATES her bunny ears.
The egg hunt.
Our neighbors brought the kids over and it was quite comical to
watch a 1 year old, (2) almost 2 year-olds, and (1) 2 1/2 year old "search"for eggs.
I hid the eggs really well.
Elizabeth found one of her two eggs!
She loved her purple egg.
Happy Easter and God Bless!
