Zoo Day!

Last week we headed to the zoo for a fun day of animals and unlimited carousel rides.  It ended up being a cloudy day with a slight drizzle in the 60s, but the girls loved every minute of our time at the zoo.  We brought a picnic lunch to enjoy after seeing and doing everything that they wanted.

They always "pose" in front of the elephant statue.

Caroline wasn't having it that day. :)

The golden tamarins are always a favorite because they move around so much

After the mammal house we saw a few orangutans and then headed to the carousel

It was unlimited ride day if you are a member and the girls rode five times in a row before we got off to look at more animals

After the carousel we walked over to see the lions and tigers

After the carousel we grabbed our lunch out of the car and ate on a semi-dry bench.

After lunch we headed home and rested a bit before playing outside.
