Outer Banks Vacation: Days 4-6

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday... our last days of vacation were a blast!

On Tuesday, Ben and I had a lunch date and enjoyed a windy day with the girls of flying kites and swimming in the pool.

Wednesday found us enjoying the beach all day long with lots of sand castles, relaxing with books, and playing in the water.

Thursday morning, Ben and I headed out on a kayak tour date and then we met back up with the family and went out to lunch.  After lunch we enjoyed the beach the rest of the day.

Friday morning we headed out after cleaning up.  A hurricane was headed our way and we wanted to avoid it. :)

Tuesday morning, very windy, but beautiful!

Elizabeth and Caroline were so excited to fly their barbie kite

Wednesday morning found us at the beach

They LOVED playing in the sand

Ben loved to relax right at the water's edge
The girls liked to build sand castles with him

During nap time, Ben and I enjoyed the beach without kids :)
(My mom and brother stayed at the house with the girls)

Thursday morning, Ben and I got away for a kayaking date
We had a great tour from Hatteras Watersports
Cathy, the co-owner, gave us a two-hour-tour that was fantastic!
If you head to the Outer Banks, please stop by and take a tour.

Elizabeth enjoyed the pool with Uncle Andy :)

After our kayak tour, all of us went to lunch at Lisa's Pizzeria

Our rental agency gave us a gift certificate
because they had to do some work in our kitchen.

After lunch, we enjoyed the beach all afternoon :)
