Tailgate recipes!

Football season is upon us and I am linking up with Kelly's Korner today to discuss my favorite tailgate recipe and to get ideas for some new recipes.

My favorite recipe is something my mom used to make for us on special occasions and it has stuck with me.  It's super easy and super tasty and is something I make whenever we are watching the game at home.

Buy a block of Velveeta cheese and a can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies.
I use Tostitos chips for dipping.

Melt the cheese in the microwave or on the stove.  Add the diced tomatoes and green chilies and stir it all together.  Serve hot.  Dip your chips.  Consume!

If I am tailgating at the game- I love to have catered dishes or bring a portable grill.  One of my favorite places to get a catered tailgate from is Chick-Fil-A.  Their nugget trays are so easy, super delicious, and make for great leftovers after the game or the next day!

Now, I know this post is about tailgate recipes- but I love to have coordinating plates, napkins, and cups for cheering on my Gamecocks.  Whenever we are in Columbia, I stock up on tailgating supplies for all the games we watch at home.  Game day is just more festive if you have the right stuff!

Happy Friday!
And...
Go Gamecocks!
