We got to the winery shortly after it opened and decided to each get a glass of wine to enjoy with lunch and then buy a couple of bottles to take home. We have done the tasting before, and while it is very good, it's a little difficult with small children. :)
Ben and I both picked the house white and we took it outside and picked a picnic table to set-up our lunch. No one else was outside when we got there, so we had our pick of the tables!
A beautiful day and good wine!
Elizabeth went to check out the bean bag toss
And Ben unpacked our picnic
Time for lunch!
After lunch we played bean bag toss some more
What a beautiful day!
Elizabeth "playing" bean bag toss with me
What good form!
Her mom must be a PE teacher or something...
Caroline enjoyed the picnic too
A nice smile from my big girl
This is what I call an adult goody bag- one full of wine!
We had a wonderful afternoon at Barrel Oak. They are very family friendly, they welcome outside food, and they have a ton of seating. Elizabeth loved playing with the bean bag toss, and we brought toys for her to dig in the dirt and rocks- so she stayed pretty busy. Ben and I enjoyed our wine and picnic and the weather was PERFECT!
Happy Sunday everyone!
