I am so thankful for this wonderful man that God has blessed me with and I enjoyed showering him with special meals and gifts all day. Ben does so much for us and is always so giving of himself, that Elizabeth and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to spoil him.
All day, Elizabeth was walking around screaming, "Surprise! Happy Birthday Daddy!"
He started the day with a hot breakfast before heading off to the office.

Elizabeth and I drove to Ben's office to take him out to lunch. We have never been to his office and thoroughly enjoyed the tour and meeting a lot of people that Ben works with. The pictures below are our very unsuccessful attempt of taking pictures of Elizabeth in Ben's office.
After lunch, Elizabeth and I headed back home so Ben could finish working in peace. When Ben got home, we had dinner cooking and enjoyed a nice, relaxing evening.
Ben requested sausage, mash potatoes, and green beans for his birthday dinner.
(she also refused to change out of her pajamas after her nap)
