You are thirteen months old today!
Our sweet girl, I keep calling you "my sweet baby" and your Dad keeps telling me you are now "my sweet toddler". You have been changing so much and what seems like overnight, you have developed a strong personality and letting us know what you like and don't like.
You are becoming more and more vocal and have taken to screaming and crying when you don't like something. You have been signing more and more often and tell us when you want milk, when you want more food, and when you are all done. You say: mama, dada, and baba = bottle, and you make a ton of noises that you are most certainly thinking you are telling us a whole bunch of things.
You love your baby doll and carry her around and love on her. You love playing with all of your new birthday presents and have taken to nicely sharing with your sister. You have gotten really into books and you always want all the books in the room. You LOVE to pull down all the movies from the DVD holder and we had to move the TV because you started banging on it. We have started putting your hair in a ponytail and it looks fabulous! You have also been trying to kiss us and it is so cute!
You have stuck your finger in the socket not once but twice and you continue to be interested in sockets and trying to stick your fingers in them (I do not understand). Since you keep shocking yourself, we have taken you to the doctor so I know your stats... you weigh 23.3 pounds and your head is 19 inches. I'm not sure of your height because they didn't take it. You now wear 18-month clothes and size 4 diapers.
We are working on switching you from bottles to cups only and you are very excited to drink out of a cup. Speaking of eating, you love ALL FOOD! You eat everything we put in front of you and you almost always want more food.
You have been very busy this month and we have been go, go, going... you have eaten doughnuts at Krispy Kreme, played on the indoor playground at Landmark, playgrounds and nature hikes, played with birthday toys, went to Butler's Orchard for pumpkin picking, been to the fire station open house, we have been to Chick-Fil-A (multiple times), we have gone to the zoo, had a Halloween party, and enjoyed fall.
