2016 in review!

This has been a great year for our family!  I can definitely say that 2016 is one for the books.  We have been blessed to see lots of family and friends, travel a ton, and make lots of great memories with our girls.  Here are some highlights from our year:

In January we had A LOT of snow!




In February we celebrated Elizabeth turning four!





At the beginning of March, Elizabeth and I took a girls trip to Texas.  At the end of March, we celebrated Easter with friends






 


In April we celebrated National Park Week and the National Park Service turning 100 by going to five parks in five days. At the end of April, I went to Raleigh for a girls weekend with Dana and Stacy!

 Tuesday we went to Lee District Park


 Wednesday we went to The Washington Monument for a picnic lunch on the National Mall


 Thursday we went to Clemyjontri Park


 Friday we went to the Air Force Memorial

In May we celebrated seven years of marriage!!!  At the end of May we celebrate Memorial Day weekend in Pennsylvania.




In June we went to Georgia to see Annalise get baptized.  We spent time with family and friends during our quick trip to Atlanta.





In July we headed to Texas for my family's 4th of July celebration that you can read about here, here, here, and here.  Later in the month we headed to Pennsylvania to see friends and visit with family.













In August we celebrated Ben's birthday.




In September we on a beach vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.  You can read about it here and here.  At the end of the month we celebrate Caroline turning two!









In October we said goodbye to our cousins that moved away.  
At the end of the month we celebrated Halloween with friends.





In November we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family.
They drove in from Georgia and flew in from Texas.







In December we enjoyed a lot of Christmas activities and spent Christmas at home!




Well, that's 2016 for us!  We had a blast and we are looking forward to more fun in 2017.
